How do I manage QR codes for several listing signs?

Make one code per sign, give each code a label that matches a number on the sign, and keep the set in one folder. Then you change any sign's link from one list. In TangoQR, labels, folders and bulk changes are on every plan.

With a set of signs, making the codes is the easy part. The hard part is to know, six months later, which code is on which sign. Solve that on day one with numbers.

A worked example: twelve sign riders

  1. Make twelve codes. Paste twelve links, one per line, or upload a spreadsheet. If the listings are not ready, point them all at your own page for now.
  2. Label them "Sign 1" to "Sign 12". Each code has a label. In a spreadsheet upload, the name column sets it.
  3. Put them in one folder, for example "Sign riders". In a spreadsheet upload, the group column does this.
  4. Number the riders to match. Ask the sign shop to print a small "1" to "12" in a corner, or write the number on the back.
  5. Change a link when a rider moves. Rider 7 goes to a new listing: open "Sign 7", paste in the new link, save.

Change many at once

To change several signs in one step, select them in the list and set the new link, or upload a spreadsheet with a code and a new link on each row. One batch can hold up to 1,000 codes, and you can undo the whole batch.

See which signs get scanned

Each code counts its own scans, and the folder shows the total for the set. A sign with no scans in a month is in the wrong place, or its code is too small to read from where people stand.

What is free and what is not

Labels, folders, bulk creation and bulk changes are on every plan. The limit on the free plan is per code: you can change a code's link for its first 50 scans. A code past 50 scans keeps working. A bulk change skips it and tells you how many it skipped. Pro ($10 a month or $100 a year) removes that limit on every code.

Can a team share the set?

Not with separate sign-ins. TangoQR has no team or brokerage seats today. An account belongs to one person.

The real estate guide covers sizes, links and costs. Making many codes at once has the spreadsheet columns.

Step by step

  1. Make one code per sign

Paste the links one per line, or upload a spreadsheet.

  2. Label each code to match its sign

Use "Sign 1", "Sign 2" and so on, and put the same number on the rider.

  3. Keep the set in one folder

The folder shows the scans for the whole set.

  4. Change a link when a sign moves

Open the code with the sign's number and paste in the new listing's link.
